What does a telemedicine session involve?

A telemedicine session involves a complete medical intake. In the states of California and New Mexico, in which Dr. Johnson holds licensure, she is considered to be a Primary Care Provider (PCP). This means she has many hours of training in modern biomedicine and can guide you to necessary referrals and offer healthcare advice within her scope of practice. In addition to her role as a PCP, she offers lifestyle, dietary, supplement, and herbal wisdom with roots in both ancient Chinese Medicine and modern scientific research as needed for the patient. Often, Dr. Johnson will send you short videos of acupressure you can do on yourself or a Qigong exercise you can practice to enhance your health and well-being. She also specializes in Chinese herbs. These high-quality, third-party tested herbs can be drop-shipped to you, the patient, within a short period of time, so you can begin your herbal therapy.

What is a distance energy treatment?

In addition to a complete intake, a distance energy treatment can be added on. Alison Johnson, MMQ (Master of Medical Qigong) has extensive training and practice in distance energy healing over the past 15 years. After the intake, you will sign off of Zoom and lie down or sit in a comfortable position while she performs the distance energy treatment. Sometimes you will feel the changes from the treatment immediately. Sometimes it may take a day or so to feel the changes. Distance energy treatments have been part of many healing traditions over human history. Think of prayer as a type of distance energy treatment (your intention travels to those in your prayers). Medical Qigong distance energy treatments simply involve different techniques to purge (get rid of what doesn’t belong), tonify (build up what needs enhancement), and regulate (smooth out) the recipient’s energy field. This will, by natural progression, affect the recipient’s physical body and enhance their health, vitality, and sense of well-being.
